He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries. When not striving to keep his patients happy and healthy, he’s enjoys hiking with his family in Rock Creek Park.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Dr. Ashley Albarado grew up in Scott, Louisiana and graduated from Acadiana High School. She attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. Dr. Albarado studied medicine at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She became a medical doctor (M.D.) in 2009. She stayed in New Orleans to train as a psychiatrist at LSU-Ochsner Psychiatry Residency. To specialize as a child and adolescent psychiatrist, she completed a fellowship at Tulane University in New Orleans. In 2014, Dr. Albarado moved to Baton Rouge, where she practiced psychiatry for five years. She moved "home" to Acadiana in 2019 and opened Albarado Psychiatry, LLC.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Julie is a Licensed Processional Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist. She has a hands-on approach to counseling using researched and evidenced based approaches that include but not limited to Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy and Solution Focus Therapy.  Julie has experience using Play Therapy for clients of all ages. Her favorite feature of play therapy is the ability to process stressful life events, thoughts, feelings and behaviors with clients without the pressures of finding the “right” words. She uses specific play materials to encourage and navigate the therapeutic process that is uniquely theirs. Julie is also known for her love of educating other therapists in her field. She is a regular guest speaker at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She has had the opportunity to guest speak for the Tennessee Tech University, Counselor Education Department and has been featured as the guest expert for the Sandtray Institute of the South. She specializes in perinatal mental health working with women and families where she focuses on women's issues, infertility struggles, pregnancy preparation, postpartum depression and anxiety, grief and bereavement surrounding miscarriage, loss and birth traumas, adjusting to motherhood and beyond. Katie also enjoys working with fathers focusing on paternal mental health struggles. She was raised in the small town of Abbeville where her love for family, food and friendship began. Helping others was always a passion as she was raised by a social worker who spent her career helping women and children. Katie received her master’s degree in Social Work at Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Social Work and has spent the past decade working in a variety of agency settings. Katie loves to say she is simply a mom set out on a mission to help other moms.       <image:caption>Hailey Verrett is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with almost 10 years of social work experience. Her work experience includes, school-based social work, inpatient and outpatient hospice and bereavement services, pediatric case management, and maternal/child medical social work while working at Women’s &amp; Children’s Hospital. Hailey is passionate about serving prenatal and postpartum couples, parents of children from conception through young adulthood, individuals experiencing loss, life transitions, and grief, and individuals living with, and/or caring for a loved one with, an acute or chronic physical health condition. Originally from a small, rural community in the heart of Central Louisiana, Hailey obtained her master’s degree in social work from the LSU School of Social Work in 2012 with a certification in gerontology. Hailey has served on numerous hospital, community, and professional boards, including Kites Above Acadiana, Maddie’s Footprints, and the Louisiana Association of Clinical Social Workers (LACSW). She is clinically trained in perinatal, neonatal, and pediatric bereavement care, and is a certified coordinator through Resolve Through Sharing (RTS) to provide bereavement care training and support to other healthcare professionals. Hailey is passionate about empowering others, fostering open communication, building and strengthening positive relationships, and helping bereaved families along their grief journey.       <image:caption>Aimee Williford is a proud graduate from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she earned a degree in psychology and continued her studies to earn a master’s degree in Counselor Education in 2016. Aimee is passionate about helping children ages 3 through 14 and those adults who support them. She believes that children struggle to manage big emotions like depression, anxiety and anger that are all to often disguised as behavioral issues. Children often do not respond to talk therapies which is why she utilizes creative and play interventions. Aimee has pursed additional trainings that encourage overall wellness for her client population. Aimee became certified in Positive Parenting, a program that provides tools to handle difficult moments. She is currently working towards certification as an ADHD certified clinical service provider (CCSP).</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Chelsea Ann Hoy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience in clinical care. She holds master’s degrees in both social work and theology from Boston College. Prior to becoming a private practice therapist, she trained as a fellow in behavioral health at Boston Children's Hospital, trained as a member of spiritual care and ethics teams in the mental health service industry, worked across several specialties as a hospital social worker, and served as the Director of Hospice Psychosocial Services for a national post-acute care company.   She has served on the national faculty for Resolved Through Sharing (RTS), a venue for healthcare workers to grow in their abilities to offer grief-informed care to parents and children.  She has also served on several boards including the Louisiana State Board of Social Workers and the Hospice Promise Foundation Board.    Chelsea specializes in grief and loss of many types, including anticipatory grief, ambiguous loss, non-death loss, on-going grief, relationship changes, job loss, and more. She has experience supporting those professionals who are in the helping professions- emergency responders, nurses, doctors, teachers, etc., and she understands the unique challenges that those careers may present. Given her background in theological studies, she is also uniquely equipped to help those seeking faith-based care.  She offers counseling services in-person and telehealth for Louisiana residents, as well as telehealth for Vermont residents. Her therapeutic approaches include the following: ACT, CBT, Complicated Grief Therapy, Meaning in Loss Therapy, Narrative Therapy, SFBT and Supportive Psychotherapy.  Chelsea works from a growth mindset.  She likes to offer psychoeducation and simultaneously values the input and wisdom of her clients as they work together to achieve the client's goals. Ashley values each client’s individuality when addressing their mental health needs and works to collaborate with them to meet their goals using evidence-based practice. Client empowerment and education are essential components of her holistic and integrative medical approach.
